I recently read an article that described the difference between loving someone, and being in love... Loving someone is a choice, something you can control. Being in love is something in which you have no control. They say when you fall in love, you feel euphoria and weak in the knees. Euphoria is the same feeling stimulated by the brain when introduced to cocaine, a feeling of intense excitement and happiness. This helped me understand why its no wonder we find it so evident when someone is truly in love, or not. The symptoms of being in love, rather than just loving someone, cannot be hidden.
