I recently rescued a caramel-colored six-month old cat named Patrick. He is such a character and very loving. The goal was for him to be a playmate for my dog Lexi. Well, its working! They play and chase and wrestle all day; heres a short video clip. They are still learning each others boundaries - when one gets a little too rough, the other one lets them know to ease up a little. So far, no bloodshed or piles of fur found when I come home from work. Unfortunately, Lexi has a strange little habit - she sneaks into the cat box and gently retrieves Patricks poop and carries it out to the yard. Apparently she thinks if she poops in the yard, thats where all of it is supposed to be...
