I recently visited the volunteers at the Australian Red Cross store in Sunbury, to thank them for their efforts and to celebrate the centenary of Australian Red Cross. I encourage everyone to get involved in some of the many events and celebrations coming up this year. You can visit redcross.org.au and become a Red Cross Centenary Pledger, participate in the Big Cake Bake, or even sign up to become an ongoing volunteer like the wonderful volunteers at Sunbury. I would like to congratulate Red Cross members and volunteers in our community whose everyday work makes such a positive, lasting difference to the lives of vulnerable people.
