I reflect back to my days of graduate school and in the class with Dr. Bridal Pearson. I remember him lecturing about leadership in a world where a billions of people lack various vital resources like clean water, medical supplies, food and education for children. Each year poverty, persecution and illiteracy are increasing. We should no longer turn a blind eye to those less fortunate than us. We have no need to wait for others to change the social problem. But step up ourselves as a unit and take action with consistency and participation. I have been inspired to act by the realization of acute human suffering, blatant inequities, and desperate situations, the world presents a constant array of such inspirations. As a leader I have learned to use every opportunity presented to make a change. Concentrically, starting with our children in Africa. The teachings of UB & Coppin collaborative HSAD program taught me the importance of addressing global issues. Therefore, we the divas of HOT HULA FITNESS are working with the United Aid for Africa project strategically designed by Jennifer Chaine Folayan to raise money for the children. No child should have to work for an education. Please watch the video below to the end for details on how to make your donation. I humbly and apologetically ask you to give what your heart can. #WishforAfrica globalgiving.org
