I refused to look at the copyedited ms today. I am still in shock over it. Who takes out all the saids? Makes no sense. There is a scene with 5 people in the room and even I couldnt tell who said what. I sat down with my lap board and paper and pen and put my mind on my novel. One of the things I like to do is see the reason someone does something. I had a long story of how Kit came to be in Summer Hill but I like my new one better. Whats happening as I write is that some characters are becoming very strong. Olivia and Nina and Josh. None of them were meant to be major but they are. Soooooo I came up with a story that fits with everything Ive written about Kit in other books. I felt I should have known this about him from the first but I didnt. And Im starting to see Nina and Josh together. I will post the prologue on Saturday. I think it explains a lot in the Jared book, but too many people thought it told too much so I had to take it off. People complain when books tie everything up at the end. They say thats too unrealistic. Whats your opinion? Jude
