I remember as a 15 year old kid calling up this girl named Michelle Stewart in flint michigan (I had met at church camp) and when she answered I put the phone next to my dads upright and I played her a portion of this sonata I was so proud to have learned . When I was done I picked up the phone to discover she was crying. It gave my goose bumps then and it gives me goose bumps now. Beethoven was an obsessed with his craft artist....wish we had more people like that winning grammys ...
