I remember back in 2001, watching the first F&F movie with some friends mostly met through working at showdown and going to car meets... It was like something we were embarrassed to admit we kinda liked, but mostly just made fun of all the one-liners. I stopped watching after the 2nd one, and just finally watched Fast 6... What a bummer.. was honestly really cool to see how many people stayed on board with that movie franchise (and the cast that came along throughout the movies sticking with it) So many strong personalities working together, the evolution of them not getting too technical with the movie took out a lot of the cheesiness of the movie. Now I know why they made it to number 6, and why there will be a 7.... With how much I hate how everything is a sequel or remake in the movie industry, they pulled it off in an awesome way. For me to sit down and enjoy a movie anymore is rare (digging the new hobbit movies)... and with jason statham jumping on board, how strong/diverse was that cast? I cannot think of another movie where so many big names with strong personalities made it work, and made it look fun. Why did it have to be Walker and not Bieber?
