I remember being told once by a friend that its not easy to stand against a room. This after they defended me in a situation where my name was being trashed in a room full of people behind my back who were supposed to be my friends and colleagues. Stand against a room...simply meaning to speak out and hold to your convictions when everyone elses opinion differs from yours. Standing against a room has earned me many not so nice names, misunderstandings that may never be truly be understood and a reputation of sometimes being difficult. Ill take it because holding on to my convictions has also allowed me to stand out as one who has a standard of excellence when mediocrity is the norm and in most cases is rewarded and praised. Life has shown me many times that the although the majority may rule it doesnt mean that the majority is right. Thinking about the many changes in my life in 2014. The losses and the lessons. I have no regrets. World changers arent known for following the crowd, agreeing with the room or being common. NOTHING about me is common and I AM A WORLD CHANGER.
