I remember being woken up because I was in Georgia in school for the Army at night. Selina Ricks had called to tell me a plane flew into one of the buildings of the WTC. Being still groggy, I couldnt believe it. I made my way to our common area where others were already glued to the TV just in time to watch in horror as the second plane hit the second building. I remember being gathered in formation being told 2 hours after the planes hit that the Pentagon was also hit and another plane missing. We were put on watch to suppliment the military police, dug positions at the gates and armed them, as the word coming down the chain of command was we were under attack. We eventually stood down, but tensions were high. Class that night was a blur. Im not sure what was taught. But I WILL NEVER FORGET!
