I remember driving to MSU at 730am and it was dusting, by the end of sociology we had 3 inches. By psychology 203 at 10am they were closing the campus. I was the last car to escape Mankato before the barricaded 169 and half way to St Peter my break line snapped. 3 hours to get from Kato to LeSueur which is normally a 22 minute drive. By the time the snow stopped later that night digging out vehicles was even worse than the drive. A day I will never forget, and thanks to news casts I cant exaggerate.
