I remember going to my 10 year reunion and was surprised to see Mr. Martin there. I was ever more surprised when he not only remembered me by name, but also specific details of my senior year. He said that he like going to the reunions because he really cared about the kids he taught and wanted to catch up with them. I remember thinking how lucky I was to have had a teacher as amazing as that. It is only now that I have a daughter in High School that I truly realize how blessed I was (and hundreds more at Wilson) to have had a teacher who cared so much. Thank you Mr. Martin for being an amazing example….you will truly be missed.
