I remember in probably 77 ot 78 ,Mike Palm ,Denise , Kelly Wheatley and probably Robert Omlit saw the Middle Class headline an afternoon show at Santa Ana City College with the Scientists and Rhino 39. There were only a few people there and our little entourage came in, drunk teenagers went right up front and started a pogo/slam pit at the front of the stage. It was like no one else there quite knew what to do. We were all decked out in our finest made up punk fashions of the time.. The bands appeared to have a mixed appreciation and revulsion at our presence. I still love the Middle Class and the freedom of music they helped introduce me to. Thank Mike Atta!
