I remember the day I learned/heard about Selena and it was the day of her death. I was living in Gooding, Idaho folding laundry in the laundry room when my best friend Stephanie Lagunas called. She was crying and said Selenas dead. I remember being confused asking her whos that does she go to school with us? She finally asked me to put my mom on the phone. I guess she told my mom and my mom explained who she was to me and that she was from Corpus like us. I learned more about her when the movie came out and thinking what a wonderful life and horrible tragedy.
