...I remember this from last week ...and as I have stated previously. ..that we must extract or remove our emotions in response to such brute and unnecessary force that has been demonstrated by law enforcement. ..I know that it is easier said than done, however, we must start somewhere. ..the events that have unfolded in Ferguson, Missouri have proven that when we unite peacefully and I might add also prayerfully, we can get much accomplished...the current legal establishments nationwide are and have been disproportionately uneven against minorities specifically, blacks ...but not all law enforcement is bad and I am sure there are some who are unhappy at what have been occuring nationally (while it is my prayer that they will find the courage to come forth and speak out)... nevertheless, just as it was in the 60s during the civil rights movement...we have to focus and reserve our energies toward educating ourselves and learning the basic laws of our communities and the land so that we can mount any kind of a defense against such extreme injustices when they do occur and not allowing our emotions to overcome or get the better of us...we do not want to respond against violence with violence because two wrongs dont make a right...and we run the risk of becoming as corrupt as the perpetrator...we must teach those who chose to do unlawfully. ..how to be the example of what they profess to uphold...by acting civil and lawful ourselves. ..I will conclude with this: ...envy not the oppressor, ...and choose none of his ways...Proverbs 3:31...
