I remember when I received my first macaroni necklace from my daughter...I was so happy and touched by her love and admiration to me with some pasta and some string! I even think she painted some of her macaroni! I wore it with joy and felt like I was wearing a pearl necklace! It meant so much to me. As, Kent and I have been taking a journey feeling called to help take the Word of God to this world through Christian T-shirts, I have had many thoughts about what we are making for the Lord:) which brought me to the thought of the macaroni necklace. There are so many doing what they know best to do and even though it may look like macaroni on a string to others...it is a priceless heart -made creation to glorify Jesus...and He looks at your efforts and finds joy and sees the admiration and love to Him. Whatever God has gifted you with use it for His Kingdom sake. Do not ever feel that it is too simple or plain. Do not hide it but just like when you were a child and made your mom a macaroni necklace with so much effort do this also for your Lord Jesus Christ:) He delights in it!
