I remembered how much I loved visiting Judy Salek Hagens and Janice Salek Morgan in their huge, castle-like house on Iowa Avenue. In fact, I loved it so much, the character of Ren, lives in this house in my latest novel, A FRIEND REQUEST. I just did some minor remodeling and moved it to another state! A little after five, I pulled up in front of the big white Queen Anne-style house where Ren, Jack, and her family lived. I loved that house. Loved spending the night there. The big, two-story reminded me of a princesss beautiful castle. It featured a big wrap-around front porch, stained glass inserts on both sides of the double front doors, and a round, two-story library room. I loved going into that round room.
