I repeat: no one should think dat im a fool. But if u do, at least accept me as a fool, so dat i wil hav a little 2 boast of. Of course wht i,m sayin now is nt wht d Lord would like me 2 say; in dis matter of boastin im really talkin like a fool. Bt since there r so many who boast 4 merely human reasons, ill do d same. U urselves r so wise, n so u gladly tolerate fools! U tolerate anyone who orders u about or takes advantage of u or traps u or loks down on u or slaps u in d face. Im ashamed 2 admit dat we were too timid 2 do dose thins! But if anyone dares 2 boast about somethin- in talkin like a fool- ill just as darin. Are they hebrews? So am i. Are they israelites? So am i. R they Abrahams descendants? So am i. Are they Christs servants? I sound like a madman- bt im a better servant than any are! Ive worked much harder, i hav ben in prison mord tyms, ive ben whipped much more, n i hv ben near death more often. 5tyms i was given d thirty-nine lashes by d jews, 3tyms i was whipped by d Romans, n once i was stoned. I hv ben in 3 shipwrecks, n once i spent 24 hours in d water. In my many travels i hv ben in danger 4rm floods n 4rm robbers, in danger 4rm fellow-jews n 4rm gentiles, there hv ben dangers in d cities, dangers in d wilds, dangers on d high seas, n dangers 4rm false friends. There has ben work n toil, often i hv gone wuhout sleep, i hv ben hungry n thirsty, i hv often ben wthout enough food, shelter, or clothin. N nt 2 mention other thins, evry day im under d pressure of my concern g al d churches. Whn some1 is weak, then i fel weak too, whn some1 is led into sin, im filled wth distres. If i must boast, i wil boast abut thins dat show hw weak im. D God n father of d LORD JESUS- BLESSED BE HIS NAME 4EVER!
