I rescued a couple being chased by a bear on the parkway this evening. I started to my Weav. home and began having car troubles and made the choice to keep driving, but drive the back way, where I didnt have to go so fast. As I was driving onto the parkway, a couple of older folks were walking down the road and looking panicked. I wondered if someone wrecked their car, and slowed down, and as I did so, they ran up to my car and ripped open the back doors of my car and jumped in. I was super startled... So were they. It turns out, a mama bear was chasing them, as they had gotten between her and her cubs accidentally. They were beautiful, and I wish I could have more fully appreciated them, but I was already stressed and just loved on them superficially. I gave them a ride to their car, and one of them followed me to my home to make sure I got home safely. We both got to be angels for each other. Whew. Now Ive got a headache and a big glass of wine and am practicing laughing at what just happened. Whew! Intense Mama-bear medicine.
