I respect cops and I know there job is dangerous. I realize their safety is important and I always give them the benefit of the doubt. But this crap drives me insane!! Why do they have to shoot a dog when its doing nothing aggressive. Why do they always have to pull the trigger first and ask questions later. Not all dogs that come to you are aggressive. They are curious creatures and normally always just want to be greeted, few actually attack. Working for Dallas AC I saw this over and over again, where officers would just shoot them over a look. A few cases where legit, but many more werent. I also know those trigger happy cops only make up a very small majority of police officers. There are many more that truly care and actually fight to protect innocent animals.
