I said to a brother that Allah truly loves me and he said "oh yea, whats the proof of that Talib?" I told him that "Allah withholds his punishment on his servant in the hereafter punish him in this life for his mistakes and sins!!" .....as the punishment in the hereafter is more severe “When Allah wills good for His slave, He hastens the punishment for him in this world, and when Allah wills ill for His slave, he withholds the punishment for his sins from him until he comes with all his sins on the Day of Resurrection.” [Reported by at-Tirmidhi (2396) and Shaykh al-Albaani (rahimahullaah) classified it as saheeh (authentic) in Saheeh at-Tirmidhi]
