I salute you O survivor ... Khubsurati chehre pe nahi, dil me hoti hai ... Irrespective of the fact that Dabur has made this digital ad commercial to resurrect its Vatika brand by creating a viral impact , I still wish to salute the spirit and courage of scores of my sisters out there who are fighting out the wretched thing called Cancer... they are fighting the post-treatment situations in their lives. In a country like India, where on the name of beauty, millions and millions of women are fighting those monsters that of white skin beautiful skin long hair lovely body and tons of idiotic associations to beauty, this ad surely goes a long way in taking a dig... Though it does appear self-contradictory in few frames but thats OK. Atleast one Indian cosmetic brand has taken this bold step...to rectify the myths in the minds of people. I dont expect much from this ad because its a movement/crusade that will be required to fight against those mammoth monsters that are existing in our minds.... but it sure shall create a dent..
