I sat in on a meeting with College Options when I was working at walmart. I didnt leave with a lot of info, but I left with the info I needed to make an apt. I just want to say that the financial aid coordinator caught a mistake on mine and Aislinns Fafsa that would have prevented us from getting Aid. Shasta college financial aid is understaffed so they dont catch errors, they just decline the aid, and people assume they just dont qualify. They also caught an error on Matts. We wondered how it was possible that he still cant get help as a single dad. Well the coordinator caught an error on his too! So thats is 3/3!! My advice to all of you going to school or with kids in school, go to COLLEGE OPTIONS!! They are much more knowledgeable that anybody as Shasta college, including the counselors :) !!
