I saved up for a while, and today got myself a little MacBook Air. I always take my big MacBook Pro (too heavy, fragile) to shoots and meetings for photo transfers, and other things. The Pro is my only computer and the one that I do *everything* on. Since I cant afford to let anything happen to that one, I invested on getting a smaller, more convenient thing for when Im on the go. Worth it. :) Ill hopefully endure less back pain too when I drag everything to the dance studio. :P The MacBook Pro plus the cover I have on it is just too heavy... and if something happens to it at a shoot, Ill be losing a laptop I invested a lot on, since Ive completely boosted the RAM and hard drive on that thing, as I do all my photo and video editing on it.
