I saw Bobby Womack for the first time when I was a freshman in HS. I had recently discovered the Chambers Brothers and they were on a bill with Womack & Taj Mahal at the Electric Circus in NYC. He was a true genius and totally original and many many white bands made many many millions copying his sound and his aura..........
