I saw Dr. Vora this morning. I checked out the xray of my beautifully fractured distal fibula (seriously - why do anything half assed?) and got the scoop on the next 4 to 6 weeks of my life. I have a ginormous boot that has air bladders that get pumped up with a little pumper-upper guy. It makes quite the fashion statement. Neutral grey. Goes with everything. It will be part of my daily couture for the next 4-6 weeks. Awesome. Crutches can be dispensed with in a week or two which is great cuz I am less than adept with crutches. No driving for awhile, pain meds, but no surgery and total assurance that it will heal without complication
