I saw Michael Bays Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles last night and I - TopicsExpress

I saw Michael Bays Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles last night and I have to say that my expectations of the movie have at least been met with a few surprising moments where it was exceeded. The actions scenes involving Master Splinter, the turtles and Shredder were surprisingly well done. Great use of martial arts mixed with tasteful use of slow motion made them pleasant. A few cases where the 180 rule was broken but in a way that made the scenes work. The acting was sub par and the writing could have been better. With movie clichés abound, my biggest complaint is the fact that Megan Fox was in the production. The turtles were true to their original characters and the movie did an excellent job of remembering the fact that they are teenagers. Michael Bay went against his nature as the explosion count was actually under 10. If I had to choose between seeing this movie again and watching Transformers, Id probably watch this one.
