I saw Miles Davis performing few time in Paris and one day a friend of mine called me and said Im gonna be interviewing Miles Davis, do you wanna come with me I said of course and just grab a jacket and quickly went to the hotel. I was the only one who was not a journalist in the room and he came in, holding a guitar, I sat next to him. After the interview he looked at me and said hey man what youre doing here ? and I said Im a percussionist who wants to play with you and he said are you sure I said yes I checked out different percussionists playing with you and I think that I can try and he called his agent and told him give him your card and send me your music. At that time I did not have any and then he showed us his painting. Miles was the greatest master ever
