I saw a pair of Paper, Denim and Cloth jeans in Burlington Coat Factory. They were $15. The brand used to be able to command $200+ for their jeans when it was en vogue to talk about your Red Monkeys and True Religions. Ppl still pay top dollar for TRs but they dont talk about them in raps songs as much. They never spoke about PD&C though. My question is do you associate quality w/ price, notoriety (popularity) and/or construction? I ask b/c if jeans that costed $200+ are now sold for $15 but are built the same way, were they ever worth $200+ and more importantly, should I forego that value b/c they are currently unpopular? I mean I dont always run w/ what or who is popular.
