I saw a post on fb yesterday that grieved my spirit. We as a people take our leaders for granted. We forget that they are human and have feelings, test, trials, families, and responsibilities as well. We can be so selfish and forget that just as they give US a word of encouragement and pray for us that they need the same. We put them on a pedestal with God and are ready to condemn them when they dont meet your expectations. I have had the privilege to sit under great leaders and watch them be hurt by people constantly. Learn to appreciate your leaders check on them every now and then give them an encouraging word sometimes. Learn to pick them up in the spirit and keep them covered. They will never let you know they are at the verge of giving up they will smile while inside they are dying. So father I pray for every faithful shepherd you have placed over your flocks and speak hope, peace, strength, and restoration into their lives and situations. I want to remind them of 2 Corinthians 4 which states are light afflictions are but for a moment. God bless you all and I thank you for all you do.
