I saw a program a few days ago... companies hire chefs to make sauces out of scratch. All organic fresh produce and ingredients. They will then bring in a lab tech to recreate the sauce using synthetic products that will last on the shelf. How disgusting! Since then Ive been on a homemade kick. Ive made my own BBQ sauce, blue cheese dressing, Cilantro ranch, and all cakes, brownies, muffins....my next big recipes will be tomato sauces, ketchup and mayo. I might as well make good use of my time at home.
