I saw a womans license plate that said OB DIVA, I recognized her as a well known OBGYN. Her license plate had fancy diamonds all around it, and her BMW 745 was bangin. Her hair looked fresh from the chair, and she was modest in her aparrel. In a nutshell miss lady had it goin on. I was conversing with a known acquaintance who knows her well, and they had nothing but rewarding things to say. I cant say where her house is but its 3 times the size of mine, she gives more to charities than I make in 5 years, and she has an attitude and heart to match her generosity as a humanitarian. Now I just gave a short version of someones resume, let alone ALL of the education, schooling, interning and residency it took to get to her level and position as an OBGYN. But when I see females on Facebook calling yourselves divas and boss ladies, Im a bit perplexed as to why? Now dont get me wrong Im not knocking anyones progress, but self proclaimed titles are not progress. I remember the R&B group Envogue, and they referred to themselves as Divas. In the Tyler Perry movie Why Did I Get Married when actress Jill Scott finally arrived to the cabin, she shouted to her girls Hey Divaaaas. The point that Im making here is ALLLLLLLLL these women are successful and accomplished. OB Diva, Janet Jackson was a successful writer who owned her own publication, Tyler Perrys wife was partner at her firm and the loud mouth chick owned her own beauty salon. Im not saying they were perfect, and yes they had flaws, but their titles as a Diva matched their resumes! Youre NOT A Baller, A Queen A Diva or A Boss Chick just because you can manipulate $50.00 dollars here and there, from some weak male. Im not here to dog anyone but the point I want to drive home is, even the sun produces heat when it opens its mouth and shines. So if youre going to produce all this heat from bragging, then you should at least be able to back up your verbal heat, by shining like the sun does. (I still love you doh) ~The Justice League~
