I saw my life flash before my eyes coming home from Morgantown this afternoon. After passing the Meadowbrook Mall headed towards Bridgeport Hill in three lanes of traffic the truck in front of me lost a big mattress out of the bed of it. I had no choice but to hit and run over the mattress or hit the cars on either side of me. The bad news is I destroyed the mattress. The good news is even though my SUV started rocking back and forth making my heart almost stop...I was able to keep in my own lane of traffic and not cause a major accident of several cars traveling about 65 mph. I feel sorry for whoever lost their bedding but I thank sweet Jesus himself for taking the wheel of out of my hands and into his own, keeping everyone safe on that stretch of road. The way I see it God must not be done with me yet.
