I saw something sort of interesting and unusual tonight. A firetruck pulled up across the street from my house, and 3 firefighters got out, bringing a big ladder with them. My husband asked them if there was a cat up a tree, and the fireman answered, "No, a dog." We both watched as the fireman put the ladder against a very tall tree--we could see a medium-size white dog half-way up the tree, looking frantic. Cars were pulling over and people were taking pictures and video with their phones, as the fireman climbed the ladder, grabbed the dog, and brought him back down to his owner.
