I saw the Angelina Jolie movie MALEFICENT on the weekend. Now I realise it was a childrens movie but the dialog was terrible and there was nothing even close to creepy in any of it. The story was silly and obvious and only somewhat saved by the special effects. Heres what Margaret & David had to say: MARGARET: ...for very young kids, I would have thought its too dark. For more sophisticated audiences the screenplay is so naff. I couldnt believe the dialogue that these people are asked to spout. DAVID: Well, if you are going to have a different take on Sleeping Beauty, you would think it might be a little more interesting than this one. MARGARET: Just get some wit in there or some cleverness or I dont know what. Dark Margaret, really?? And yet they still gave it ⭐️⭐️⭐️ each.
