I saw the end of the cloud line leaving Paris, America this morning on the drive in. Rains are out and the sun is in! Have you ever seen someone who thinkS he/she is smarter than he really is? Sometimes we refer to a person like this by the term know-it-all. They can be young and inexperienced, but they know-it-all. They may have read one article on a subject, but they know-it-all. They may have a friend or relative who is heavily involved in the work, but they know-it-all because of the relationship. They may have never thought about the subject, but you can rest assured, they know-it-all. Know-it-alls are full of themselves, but real knowledge is something they do not possess. Most of the time, the know-it-all has to learn the hard way. Since he knows it all, he cannot listen to others. This would prove he does not know-it-all. It would be a shame for him to admit such a thing. It is interesting to listen to a know-it-all because he quickly shows that he really knows LITTLE AT ALL!
