I saw this on my Big Siss facebook, and I had to repost on this day. I always wished for my dad and mom, even though they were there. Divorce just always set forth the one or the other, and less of both situation. It always does. But for those of us who have parents, when you think the issues with them are not worth sticking around for, remember this childs answer. Would you trade your Dad for a drill instructor youve never met? Then this might make you look at your cabinet of contentions with your dad, mom, grandmom, uncle, or whomever you are blessed to have raise you--struggles and all--a little differently.
