I saw this quote today and I wanted to share it as my thought! This is where I start my comeback. Ill spend no more time asking God why doors have been closed, because Ill be too busy praising God for the doors that are about to be opened. I just want everyone to take that to heart. It is so easy to get caught up in the mistakes and heartbreaks of yesterday. We can get so caught up in those closed doors that we spend all of our time thinking about what has already happened. And when we spend all of our time looking back we take our attention off of what is in front of us. Doing that can distract us from a great opportunity God has for us right now. Putting our focus behind us can also distract from another hole that Satan has laid in front of us. We can never change the past and when we try to fix it we are really just becoming a slave to it. Jesus died so that we could become free from sin but so many of us are walking right back over to the chains that Jesus freed us from and putting them right back on. We will only really find the satisfaction we desire when we fully let go of the past. I want to encourage you all to focus on the here and now. Not because you want to prove that Satan was wrong about your past but because you want to prove to yourself that God is right about your future. As it says in Galatians 5:1 It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. I will end with one more quote, Stop pressing rewind on things that need to be deleted from your life. Take it, apply it and live it as always! :)
