I see a father researching on the internet, over his child having treatment for cancer, and now he had to argue, with the NHS machine, that has got him and his wife arrested. As a patient who has gone to prison for a substance that despite I ask for it on prescription for my spinal pain in about 1987, to be told no, they cant,...( I was offered methadone btw) only to loose my license, in 93 ( for thc in my blood steam) when I insisted that I needed herb, after a medical defense in 89, to be laughed out of the court saying no medical benefit, have I been in that court a few times since. So I know what its like to go against the mainstream, when all I wanted to do was educate them to my personal needs. These parents are trying to do, what they feel is right. Now feeling good about a treatment or procedure or operation, is one of the main recuperative mechanisms to recovery imo. So what is going on? Shouldnt we have progressive medicine that takes, all types of healing on board? Suited to the persons need , rather than profits, which often , as we see with drug companies, using the media to advetise, its about money. Yet we know budgets can be found for bombs for wars, and that mean economists are not pushing this for patients, just profits. This could be done, to incorperate all compliementry medicines, see what works and what doesnt, just cause we cant find the mechanisms to see how something works, what give us spirit to survive and mend, we seem to neglect and what a healing tool and a great learning curve , to give to future generations....I am a dreamer, and scenarios, make me want to find solutions for the future. including cannabis research done NOW in the UK of course.
