I see a lot of people paying their respects on Facebook - TopicsExpress

I see a lot of people paying their respects on Facebook today...some by posting pics and stating where they were...some are having a moment of silence, or not posting anything for the hours of the tragic events of 13 years ago. I have posted a pic on my timeline, and stated where I was that day...what I was doing. There are many different ways to remember and honor this day, and it doesnt really matter which one or ones you do. The simple fact that you pause for a moment, and reflect on that day and all it meant...the heroes and people lost, the response of a shaken nation, the actions of those who decided to act in the face of their own end, and the moment our bloodshot, tear-soaked eyes turned upon those that attacked liberty and glared into their soulless eyes. Freedom was not ended that day...nor will it ever end. Weve seen countless threats since then, but I still believe this. No matter the actions of our politicians...no matter the state of our economy...freedom is not a political ideology. It lives and breathes in every free American, and if you want to come over here, and try to kill freedom, youre gonna have a lot more than the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, and National Guard to worry about. We The People will stand for our freedom, and will fight to the death for it.
