I see a lot of people slagging the NHS off. Let me educate you a tiny bit... After world war 2 finished which was something that flattened this country to its knees, causing people great poverty as they had no houses as they was bombed and not to mention food rationing which is something myself or anyone wouldnt know about as weve been spoilt. The Labour government formed the NHS to provide FREE thats right FREE health care for all of the British people. Life in Britain in the 30s and 40s was tough. Every year, thousands died of infectious diseases like pneumonia, meningitis, tuberculosis, diphtheria, and polio. Even more upsetting was the deaths of children before their first birthday - was around one in 20, and there was little the piecemeal healthcare system of the day could do to improve matters. Something in this day and age we take for granted. The NHS changed that, they revolutionised health care in Britain and allowed us to survive longer, live longer, and spend more time with our familys and loved ones. They spend thousands in fighting Ebola now and have found cures for diseases with its research. Before slagging them off whilst our nurses, doctors and health care assistants and others are working flat out, please think again. The A+E is not for people with broken finger nails or a smokers cough ... Anyway rant over. At this time of crisis support our health care workers and stand by them as they work flat out under extreme pressures to provide the health care that is world beating and lets keep everything great about Great Britain... ✌️
