I see amazing and self serving posts worrying about about self and where America is going. I can remember working for a fortune 10 company and George Bush telling us entrepreneurs to gamble everything. Hell, did that, bought the T-shirt. The day Dale Earhart died, we were driving five vehicles from the car sale in Chattanooga, Tennessee. At that time, we only had a few houses and I was happy in my corporate role, and car lot was supporting itself. Yup Linda and I gambled everything. The cost has been unbearable. Woke up in the morning and checked bank account, saw the bad news 500k in bad checks and holding a 100k inventory and bank owing us 250k, BTW our daughter needs money for pictures. Yes, nerves of steal. Asked no one for sympathy. Today, we still walk with pride. This was all of my own making and knew I was an American. My third Grade teacher Joan Moon said the biggest thing in American is I CAN. Faced many hard times since that day and many sacrifices. Miss the days of flying high in a jet. But came with a price. Still here and enjoy my time here and would do it all over again, only would spend more time with family and not aim so high. Times missed worrying about small stuff mean very little. Most of all no one will ever walk in these shoes. Life is short, never forget family and your children. Missed out on so much, but yet got an education. Many in my family do not understand where we have been. Most of all, we have no expectation for them to understand. Life is short, times are bad and times are good. Mistakes are made. Learn, love and enjoy today as it will all be over in a short time. Most of all, if you have a dime left, you have mismanaged by 10 cent.
