I see n hear people all the time saying they want a puppy for Christmas or any other time of year really and I see pictures about dont get a dog if youre just going to do this. Type thing and I seriously dont think people understand still. Bruno is my world and I have no clue what to do without him. But sometimes I wish I would have never gotten him because he is such a responsibility. I get made fun of when get so upset that I have to leave him again when hes already been alone all day so I at least leave tv on.. Im out doing something knowing Bruno is at home and all I think about is how awful I feel. He piddles every. Single. Time. He gets excited about someone walking in the door(thank god for hardwood floors) and it was annoying before. Now Im 7 months pregnant having to get down and clean it and soon, Ill be walking in the door with a newborn n having to deal with it. But I will never give up on him. Ever. But some people think having a dog only consists of feeding them and lettin them out. No. A dog is your child. You need to play with them, give them your time and attention, deal with their issues without just getting rid of them (you wouldnt do that with your child would do), get them groomed (or do it yourself lol) etc. its a huge responsibility. Its a lot tougher than I thought it would be so please take this into consideration. A dog does not deserve to go place to place. They deserve a good, stable, permanent home where he gets nothing but the best.
