I see no reason to believe we live in a galaxy and a universe not - TopicsExpress

I see no reason to believe we live in a galaxy and a universe not teaming with life in all stages of evolution. Lewis Thomass Lives of a Cell clearly demonstrates Earth to have all the attributes of a living cell. James Lovelocks Gaia Hypothesis maintains all lifeforms are considered part of one single living planetary being called Gaia. In this view, the atmosphere, the seas and the terrestrial crust would be results of interventions carried out by Gaia through the coevolving diversity of living organisms. One of the main criticisms of Gaias living status is the lack of procreation and yet in Worlds in Collision Emanuel Velikovsky maintains Venus emerged from Jupiter as a comet. His best selling book was thoroughly denounced by the astronomical community and the publisher threatened with boycott until it discontinued publication of this ground breaking work. And yet this work continues to live on in the hypothesis of the Electric Universe which answers more questions arising from observable attributes of the macrocosm than any other other known scientific theory and accounts for all of the energy known to exist not just the 4% derived from Einsteins Unified Field equations. I wrote this intending to post something else altogether but it seems to be an introduction for the Electric Universe model of which I am so fond. https://youtube/watch?v=t7EAlTcZFwY
