I see that anyone over 55 yoa is supposed to answer 10 Questions. Mine are going to be some that everyone will know a few, but I dont think anyone knows them all. 1. I once spent a weekend in jail. And no, it wasnt for DUI. It was for having undersized fish (in this case muskellunge) in my possession. 2. A lot of people in Jr. High thought I was gay, because my best friend and myself were always together and did everything together. Shows you how much they knew. 3. The Iraqi resistance set off an IED at me about a month before my mother died. Jason Tarant and Forrest Wayne Selsor were in the van with me that evening. They missed and I never complained about dust-storms again. 4. Ive done a lot of things two times. Attending Case Western Reserve University, Emporia State University and Cloud County Community College. Serving in the Army two separate times and I had two overseas mobilizations in the Army Reserve. 5. KBR (Halliburton) put me in Tikrit, at Camp Speicher. It was the same place I served in the Army. In fact, the truck yard I worked in, Area 51, was planned by our unit at the end of our first year in Iraq. 6. Ive lived in 5 foreign countries and 11 places in the Midwest and 7 places in the Northeast. Ive never lived in the south or the west. Never. 7. When I was in High School I swore I would visit every continent. Australia still to go. Antarctica doesnt count. 8. The first car I ever bought for myself was a 1960 Plymouth Savoy (with HUGE fins) which I got from Richard Booe. It was light green. The first NEW car I bought was a 1974 AMC Gremlin. It had the Levi upholstering and was a small 8 cylinder. 9. Those of you who know me know that I like to party. The first drink I ever had (other than my dad giving me a can) was at the Holliday Jr. High graduation dance in 1969. I drank the punch and didnt know I was drunk. The first time I drank of my own free will was New Years Eve 71-72. I was with Bill Wettengel. That scamp! 10. I was involved in the 1973 College Republican National Convention. I was with Mark Freedman and our opposition was none other than KARL ROVE. Not only did Rove steal the convention, he tried to get me in trouble with the CWRU Observer over a membership document I made up for our chapter. I still cannot stand Karl Rove.
