I see the images/video and hear the stories about how someone goes on a rampage and kills a number of innocent people before taking their own life or being killed in a shoot out. Or all of the atrocities carried out in the name of war, and to what end? To shuffle around pieces of land because someone thinks they have more of a right to it?( I realize theres more to it than that, obviously) because you dont have the same faith as them? because youve had a lonely life and feel slighted by humanity? I really dont get it, in my mind we are are connected, all part of the same species, we have more in common than not...dont we? Where does all of this anger, hate, jealousy, and spite come from? Arent we all just trying to do the same thing? Live, love, laugh, grow, and make our time on this globe as good as it can be considering how short our time is? I may not be religious but I have a deep and personal spirituality based upon the person I feel I am and who I want to be, not just for myself but because it matters to everyone else around me. We are all built from the same basic building blocks and maybe our spirit comes from the same energy that is in everything around us on the earth, in the sky, and beyond. After all arent we all just star stuff.
