I see the other side wants to avoid the issues and sling mud. Well, it will not work! Just to set the record straight, when I was in the county legislature I did not take part of any discussions regarding the creation and vote to create the Public Defender position. The county attorney told me that my name had been discussed as a possible person for the job and that if I did participate in the discussions or in any vote that I could not ever be considered for the job. The records are there as it is all public. Why bother to look when you can just throw out the accusation without any truth. Lets get back to the real issues, how does a district attorney allow so many cases to go unprosecuted? How does a new DA stop it? These are the questions to ask. The answers are the issues that need to be discussed.
