I see victory ... but? We begin to win by praising the sacrifice of out soldiers, police, DSS and others in the trenches... every undeserved criticism hands the terrorists a moral victory... the PKK insurgency is three decade old in Turkey and with more than forty thousand dead; the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelams (LTTE) lasted for 29 years in Sri Lanka before it was finally crushed in 2009; and the GIA killed tens of thousands in Algeria in the 90s (Ironically for the annulment of a free and fair elections Islamists were poised to win). Egypt provided some of the ideologues terrorist ideologues.. Lebanon began with a civil war and ended with terrorism. The Israeli-Palestinian conflict is a special case. The Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, India (terrorists groups in India are more than forty), Pakistan, the US (hate groups, racists criminal gangs are aplenty in the US), Western Europe, Russia, Chechnya, Syria, Yemen and Saudi Arabia... al Qaeda is active in more than sixty countries worldwide... when the Malian military accused the President of incompetence and took power, the Tauregs almost overran the country and brought al Qaeda with them...
