I seem to be crowdsourcing lots of rules lately. So, Im running a game of vampire set in 2030 Singapore, with a hint of cyberpunky flavor because Im a hideous fan of Shadowrun and Deus Ex. So, I was toying with the idea of cybernetic implants. My current house rules (I havent introduced them in play yet, so my players dont know about them) are that vampires can use money to augment themselves and permanently increase one of their attributes (representing physical augmentations like metal bones or cyborg muscles etc. to make you stronger, faster, more dextrous). However, for each implant, the vampire must spend an additional blood point upon waking up every night, basically to fool the implant into thinking youre alive and functioning properly. Im toying with more exotic stuff, but for now, what do people think about that as a basic?
