I sent the book off to Linda, then spent hours trying to get my binder for the Summer House book ready for my coming trip. I realized I was missing the research for the ad campaign for Kathy, so I worked on that. Some of you asked about this trip. I am leaving out of LA on 4 Jan for a 4 month around the world cruise. The purpose of going is all about writing. I went on a similar cruise in 2011 and I finished the last half a book, wrote the first half of a second one, and came up with plots for 6 novels. It was so great being away from all chores and have-to-do things! Every few days Id go see some sights, then go back to the ship and write. Right now my closet floor is full of clothes. It is hard to decide what to take for 4 months. Last time, the ship left out of Fort Lauderdale, where I lived, so I took 4 enormous suitcases. But 2 of them were shoved under the bed and never opened. I also took an entire suitcase of paper and pens. I was terrified that Id run out. I didnt even think that other countries sell pens and paper! What do you hope you get for Christmas? I want to wake up on Christmas morning with 4 fabulous book ideas. Jude
