I sent this email to both of my daughters respective Superintendents (2 School systems) today in response to ANOTHER canned MEMO that implies no action on the schools part. PURE BULLSHIT Thanks for the update. I have 2 10 year old daughters in 2 different RSUs (Conner Barrerett at KCS and Josephine Rideout at Falmouth Elementary); FES was copied on this email as well.We have endlessly battled the Lice at large cost, effort and not to mention the embarrassment the children bear. What I dont ever see or hear is what exactly the School does to stem the tide, as this is Endemic it seems,.I perceive little effort or at least am not informed (hopefully) in the Myriad letters that are crafted to place the responsibility to fall on the families solely, either because of budget, poor wordsmithing or a displacement of some sense of responsibility to institute protocols within the school environment to mitigate the spread Hygiene. Logistics, shared materials, garments, pillows, social rules etc. Mountains of coats and bags in disarray. Can you explain further.(BIG IDEAS) I also see no efforts or at very least evidence to EDUCATE the kids (ACTIVELY). It should be very important and apparent. Our children spend a work week of time in the environment. Please dont take this personal and I apologize in advance if this seems a bit bristly; however the push message should always include a note on the ongoing efforts of the school as well..it .would receive much nicer. Get a Writer to craft the outgoing correspondence As good responsible parents we make Herculean efforts at home and it seems fruitless at times to end the cycle and am very informed on the parasite, its life cycle so on and so forth. Any ideas?
